Quilting Machine Rental

NOTE: Because of current volumes, we are not able to rent time on our machines unless you are interested in purchasing a machine.

If interested in purchasing a machine, spend an enjoyable day with us quilting your own quilt! We'll provide continual instruction and support by one of our knowledgeable employees while you are here, preparing you for taking an Innova home with you. There’s no need to take a preliminary class, purchase leads, or jump through any hoops. Call us to schedule an appointment at our Fort Collins quilting shop, then just show up with your backing, top, and batting (or purchase batting with us).

We have changed a few things for our machine rental program. Please read our guide, How to Prepare Your Quilt for Long Arm Quilting.

Very important, please read this document to make sure you are properly prepared. If you arrive for rental and need to piece your back or finish sewing on borders, there will be a $40 per hour charge for that prep work as an employee has been assigned to you and the machine is unavailable for use by others.

Deposit: our new pricing requires a $75 deposit/minimum quilting charge for both hand guided and computer guided quilting.

Cancellation and late policy: if you’re unable to make your rental appointment, please cancel at least 1 business day in advance and we’ll reschedule your rental time. Individuals canceling less than 1 business day in advance will forfeit the deposit. In the even of severe weather, we will contact you to reschedule.

Computer Guided Quilting

Rent time on one of our Innova Auto Pilot Mach 3 computer-guided long arm quilting machines. Choose a pattern from our library of thousands of digital designs or purchase a pattern from one of many websites we can recommend. You can choose to do anything from an edge-to-edge pattern to custom quilting. On average, a twin size quilt quilted with an edge-to-edge pattern can be done in under 4 hours.

Computerized quilting is charged at 1 cent per square inch more than it would be if we quilt for you. For instance, a loose to moderate edge to edge pattern is 2.5 cents per square inch if we quilt for you, or 3.5 cents per square inch if you rent. We’re happy to give you estimates on other price tiers (e2e in center, custom on borders, full custom, etc.) by phone. These prices do not include thread and batting, which will be charged separately. Flannel, minky or other thick backing will also have a small surcharge for pinning.

Hand Guided (Stitch Regulated)

Quilt on one of our Innova hand-guided machines. Choose one of our paper pantographs or do free motion quilting. $35 per hour.

For those interested in buying a longarm, any rental cost (excluding thread and batting) you incur is credited back to you if you purchase within 6 months.
